<li>Extract files to C:\UABASEdit (or your own folder)</li>
<li>Navigate to c:\program files\microsoft games\urban assault\data\set1\ (or any other set) and copy the SET.BAS file to C:\UABASEdit\</li>
<li>Copy the SET.BAS file to C:\UABASEdit\</li>
<li>drag and drop the SET.BAS file on top of UAVBMP.EXE (notice the .ILBM files being extracted into same folder)</li>
<li>drag each ILBM file onto UACNV.EXE (notice new .ILBM.BMP files being created in same folder)</li>
<li>Explore each BMP file and edit to your pleasing!</li>
<li>open BASEdit.EXE, click the button to find the SET.BAS file at c:\program files\microsoft games\urban assault\data\set1\</li>
<li>click the next button to find your newly edited BMP file</li>
<li>choose the bitmap file you with to update from the combo box selector</li>
<li>push the OPEN/SEARCH/REPLACE/WRITE/CLOSE button</li>

<p>A new complete mod made by <a href="http://forums.metropolisdawn.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=1657" target="_blank">MarioSDU6/SDU7</a> was released to the UA, and now you can be certain, the game is harder than ever!</p>
<p>It now includes the four units of the Metropolis Dawn, which you can&#8217;t find on normal gameplay: Ground Cube; Crusher; Ostwind; and Thor&#8217;s Hammer.</p>

<p>The levels you normally play are more difficult and with more Hosts and Flaks Stations for you to destroy.</p>

<p>New color for the Resistance Units, to it looks like more the &#8220;blue faction&#8221;, but if you prefer the oldstylished icons you can put the original.</p>

<p><em><span style="color: #ff0000;">WARNING</span></em><em><span style="color: #ff0000;">:</span></em><em> If you destroy your PC in process, it is your fault&#8230;</em></p>
<p>Requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>UA and UA Metropolis Dawn Expansion , both registered on system. (Downloadable on <a title="Metropolis Dawn FTP" href="http://www.metropolisdawn.com/files" target="_blank">http://www.metropolisdawn.com/files</a>)</li>
<li>Knowledge about editing registries on Windows.</li>
</ul>
<p>Tutorial</p>
<ol>
<li>First of all, download a mod here: <a title="Metropolis Dawn FTP" href="http://www.metropolisdawn.com/files" target="_blank">http://www.metropolisdawn.com/files</a></li>
<li>Now, go to the folder where you install UA and copy the levels folder. Paste it and put any name you want. <em>Example</em>: urbanrace6&#8242;s levels</li>
<li>Take the levels of the mod, downloaded earlier, and put them in the folder of levels created</li>
<li>Now go to the UA folder and copy\paste Taer_save folder and rename it. <em>Example</em>: UR6_Save</li>
<li><strong>Now is the dangerous part, it is for your own risk:</strong> Open the regedit (it can be made by a lot of ways, so I won&#8217;t say any), and copy the registries of &#8220;HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Urban Assault\1.0&#8243;, but in a key with another name. <em>Example</em>: &#8220;&#8230;\Urban Assault\<span style="text-decoration: underline;">UR6&#8243;</span></li>
<li>After you copy the same things on the regedit, change the strings data, levels, and save, with the following informations:  data -&gt; &#8220;C:\&#8230;\Urban Assault\dataxp&#8221;; levels -&gt;&#8221;C:\&#8230;\Urban Assault\<span style="color: #ffcc00;">urbanrace6&#8242;s levels</span>&#8220;; save -&gt; &#8220;C:\&#8230;\Urban Assault\<span style="color: #ffcc00;">UR6_save</span>&#8220;</li>
<li>Now, go to the folder where UA is installed and copy\paste the Taer_env and rename. <em>Example</em>: UR6_env.</li>
<li>Open the New_env folder and open with the notepad the levels.def file and edit the number in it to 1.</li>
<li>Copy the Taerkasten shortcut, go to Properties and change the -env Taer_env to  the one create earlier. <em>Example</em>: -env UR6_env</li>
<li>Open the game, go to Save\Load and create a new profile. Delete the others ones, if exists.</li>
<li>Now you can run your mods, and the original game.</li>
</ol>
<p><em>Observation: With this proccess you will not have the first 2 tutorial levels.</em></p>
